This is an example of my work being edited. After a peer review done in class, I let my sister edit it and she fixed up a lot of mistakes that I did not realize my paper had. What helped me with the paper was that I watched her edit and she explained to me what I was doing wrong and how she would do it differently. Once I fixed those mistakes, I was able to realize that I kept making the same mistakes with every paper and now, I know what to look for. For example, I had a problem with switching up the tenses in my writing, and although I still struggle with that, it has gotten better.
